The final meeting of the EU-funded project ArboZoonet and the 11th Biennial Conference of the Society for Tropical Veterinary Medicine (STVM) will be held jointly from September 19 to 22 in Orvieto, Italy as the "Joint Conference on Emerging and Re-emerging Epidemics Affecting Global Health".
Together with other collaborating parties, the Italian Society for Virology (ISV), the EU-funded projects PiroVac, CCHfever and Postick, we would like to invite you to join a conference covering scientific topics on disease risks and challenges - both for animals and for humans - brought by viral, bacterial and parasitic pathogens. Control measures, Co-infections and Vector-borne diseases among others will be discussed in seperate sessions.
The conference aims to promote discussion between scientists, practitioners and decision makers from various fields as well as to update researchers, academics, governmental and non-governmental organization representatives, veterinarians, technicians and other professionals from the industry sector interested in emerging and re-emerging epidemics affecting global health.
Young scientist are especially encouraged to join the conference and present their work during the special session for young scientists.
