Within the 10th Bienal Conference of the Society for Tropical Medicine (STVM) in Lübeck, Germany, a Arbo-Zoonet Satelite Meeting took place.
According to the conferences central issue "One Health, One Medicine: Building Bridges to Face the Challenge of Emerging and Zoonotic Diseases." Franco Ruggeri talked about the risks of emerging viruses (BTV, WNF) in Italy, Zati Vatensever presented "Recent data on Crimean Congo Haemorhagic Fever in Turkey" and Aysen Gargili had a talk about "Lessons from Crimean-Congo Hemorragic fever in Turkey". Jabbar Ahmed presented the International Network for Capacity Building for the Control of Emerging Viral Vector Borne Zoonotic Diseases, Arbo-Zoonet.
